Full waterproofs from the start
Started a competition for all viewers of the blog to guess who is wearing shirts, picys sent tinight1
Walked past various ditches and as the rain cleared we started to see the Wall built from stone walls.
Rain cleared at 1400, superb fort at Birdsowald.
Last few miles along superb crags with wall on top, outstanding views we reckon we can see 40miles.
Got to pub at 1900, too late` really as cuts down drinking time especially from the blogmeister ( by the way some walkers don’t know who the tiogmeister [Would that be Blogmeister... ed?] is can we add a link to wogans site on Radio2?)
A few sore feet and a twisted ankle, all in good spirits and ready for a similar day tomorrow with a bit of climbing.

Valerie and Fred for matching boots , waterproof trousers and bag waterproofers, they looked very sweet but to do this properly need matching Subaru Rally jackets ,maybe not waterproof enough?
